Anoka County Community Action Program (ACCAP)
ACCAP is committed to helping disadvantaged individuals out of poverty and into the community as productive citizens. The agency offers educational opportunities, information and referral, and direct services, such as Head Start, Affordable Housing, and Child Care Aware of MN, Metro. These programs and services help residents achieve their goal of self-sufficiency.

Dakota County Emergency Hotel Program for Adults and Youth
Dakota County contracts with three agencies (Matrix Housing Services, Ally Supportive Services, and The Link) to provide emergency shelter in local hotels for single adults, youth ages 18-24, and couples/households without children. Participants must be homeless in Dakota County and one member of the household must have a disabling condition. Priority is given to individuals who are unsheltered and those who are homeless and at high risk for COVID-19 (over age 60 and/or pre-existing medical conditions). The Emergency Hotel Program replaces the rotating church-based emergency shelter.
