South Metro Elected Officials Housing Bus Tour , October 27, 2015
Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire, along with other elected officials, after our October 27th South Metro Elected Officials Housing Bus Tour. MICAH South and member organization CATCH invited Mayors, County Commissioners, State Legislators and faith community leaders on an across the aisle Housing Bus Tour. This was an opportunity to hear from Dakota County’s housing professionals while the full coach traveled past various types of affordable housing resources in Eagan and Burnsville. In addition, this Tour featured a stop at Lincoln Place, supportive housing for young adults, and a site visit with panel discussion at Dakota Woodlands emergency shelter. This tour with elected officials was highlighted as an opportunity for “Advancing the conversation on housing in Dakota County…”
