MICAH works with congregations, faith leaders, and community partners to increase awareness and understanding the need for affordable housing. This creates advocates who fight for changes in public policies to encourage all communities to preserve and build affordable housing.

He became involved with MICAH in the early 2000s. His service on the MICAH anti-racism team, 2006-2008, produced strategic recommendations which continues to guide MICAH's work.
