MICAH works with congregations, faith leaders, and community partners to increase awareness and understanding the need for affordable housing. This creates advocates who fight for changes in public policies to encourage all communities to preserve and build affordable housing.
The NorthEast Chapter’s virtual bus tour this year featured the diversity of housing in the area. 'Stops' on our journey included Willow Reserve - a Habitat development, Solid Ground, Community Resource Center, and Settled - the community-first Tiny Home project that has been working in the Twin Cities area for several years. This video is a recording of our tour and includes the many speakers and visitors.

On Wednesday, October 27th, MICAH St. Paul Chapter held a virtual version of our bus tour. This year we 'visited’ and viewed presentations from East Side Freedom Library, Interfaith Action of Greater St. Paul, Housing Equity Now St. Paul (HENS), The Salvation Army Harbor Light - Bethesda Shelter, and The Village on Rivoli.
The tour ended with updates on State and Federal Legislation from MICAH Executive Director, Sue Watlov Phillips.
