MICAH works with congregations, faith leaders, and community partners to increase awareness and understanding the need for affordable housing. This creates advocates who fight for changes in public policies to encourage all communities to preserve and build affordable housing.
Ed oversaw the City’s Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Community Redevelopment, Home Rehabilitation, First Time Homebuyer, Senior Housing, and Affordable Housing Programs. He worked with MICAH to facilitate development of approximately 400 affordable housing units in Plymouth. He also served as the City’s representative to the Hennepin County/City of Minneapolis Taskforce on Homelessness and the Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council.
